The 2024-2025 District Spelling Bee was held at Ware Shoals Middle School on January 28th. Congratulations to 3rd grader Wylie McCullough, our WSPS school winner and our District Champion!
This year, our top five district spellers are invited to participate in the South Carolina Spelling Bee in March. Congratulations also to 7th grader Jolene Allen, who is also our WSMS school winner; 5th grader Brody White; 4th grader DJ Geddings; and 8th grader Colby Quinn.
Our spellers went through 139 words, and 21 rounds. We are so proud of them all!
