February is Career and Technical Education (CTE) Month®, and our Horticulture program at Ware Shoals High School is in full bloom!
Students are hard at work preparing for our Spring Plant Sale on Saturday, April 19th by transplanting and propagating plants in our greenhouse. Through hands-on learning, they explore plant science, gardening, and agriculture, mastering skills like soil preparation, watering techniques, and pest management.
This year,
we’re also excited to offer dual enrollment horticulture classes in partnership with Piedmont Technical College! These students are gaining in-depth knowledge, earning CTE completer status, and preparing for career opportunities in horticulture.
