As part of the American Rescue Plan's Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund (ARP-ESSER III), Ware Shoals School District is set to receive $3.1 million over the next three years to respond to needs arising from the COVID-19 pandemic. WSSD 51 has been approved to provide FREE MEALS to ALL students enrolled in our district and children 18 years and younger in our community under the Seamless Summer Option (SSO) program for SY 2021 - 2022. Children do not have to be enrolled in WSSD 51 to be eligible. All children not enrolled in our district must sign up (use link below) to receive the free meals for pick-up Mondays and Thursdays from 10:30 am – 11:00 am. Sign up is required each week for all meal requests and will begin after 3:00 pm each Thursday and end the following Tuesday at 3:00 pm for the next weeks meals.
